The Lord says,
“Peace, peace to the one who is far or near,
and I will heal him. But the wicked are like the storm-tossed sea, for it cannot be still, and its water churns up mire and muck. There is no peace for the wicked" (Isaiah 57:19-20)
In Isaiah 56 The Lord tells us a little about the wicked. He condemns the unrighteous leaders. He calls them blind, mute, sleeping dogs. You can't even say of them that they are all bark and no bite, because they're mute lazy shepherds with no discernment. But boy oh boy do they have an appetite for food and drink and the places of honor at the pagan feasts. These "leaders" follow their own paths and their flock follows right after them into idolatry. They participate in withcraft, and make their beds wide with the ways of the pagans. And we can see from God's perspective, there can be no rest for the wicked.
Meanwhile, the Lord has made a way that is the way of peace (rest).
What's God plan?
"Preserve justice and do what is right,
for my salvation is coming soon, and my righteousness will be revealed. Happy is the person who does this..."
(Isaiah 56:1-2b)
God's coming salvation:
The Lord Jesus Christ, his righteousness, is begotten in order to lead and restore the new creation. He was and is God; but he was the only-begotten (manifested) in the flesh. And Jesus the Messiah, alone would bring everlasting peace and righteousness to the earth (see Malachi 3:1-5 and Proverbs 30:4). And we wait..."we wait for the happy fulfillment of our hope in the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ." (Titus 2:13)
The Creator God is like the sun, and the Son of God is like the sunbeam. One together in essence and similar being. Both being light and both being creative energy. Both being dynamic light together working together as One. Both coequal creators, not created. On the same page, committed to the same goals. Only-begotten not made, coeternal. Jesus is the son of David and the Son of God. One God in three essences. The physical birth of Jesus Christ is the person begotten into this sphere of the flesh from his eternal sphere. Unlike us he chose to be born. To call Jesus “the only begotten Son” means that he is fully divine and eternal. He is God the Son. And His deity is established in his resurrection from the death he chose, by the power of The Holy Spirit.
"by human descent, came the Christ, who is God over all, blessed forever Amen." (Romans 9:5) “To the one seated on the throne and to the Lamb be praise, honor, glory, and ruling power forever and ever!” (Revelation 5:13)
We, when we are raised again into life everlasting by Christ's righteousness, are begotten into God's family. Begotten but not "only-begotten", that honor belongs to Jesus alone. We're adopted into his family, grafted in, and we're given his Spirit so that we can be called children of God. In this way we become "in Christ", but Jesus is very God of very God, only-begotten.
John 10:30
Jesus declared “I and the Father are one.”
Only-begotten, not made.
“You are my witnesses”—
this is the Lord’s declaration—
“and my servant whom I have chosen,
so that you may know and believe me
and understand that I am he.
No god was formed before me,
and there will be none after me" (Isaiah 43:10)
"God of God, Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten, not made."
