Have you given in? Are you giving up? Maybe getting along without Him? Have you forgotten what he promised?
“I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.”
Isaiah 46:4
Friends—Keep this one thing in mind, this spiritual depression we're seeing isn’t your doing, it’s not your fault. Remember this old adage; future events cast their shadows on the present. The days of our lives before and the days after are often like the day before and the day after an explosion. The future is a ticking time bomb and it’s not your bomb, and you’re not the bomb maker. It’s all a set up and the process is by design. The decay of spiritual character we are seeing today is a part of prophecy, and the AntiChrist propagandists are working tirelessly to drill down into our cultural heritage and sow the seeds of hatred for Gods people. We are being made to live in exile from within our own hometowns.
On a personal level, maybe all that happened was you got to thinking your problems are too big for God to handle or even bother about. You haven’t seen the outcomes you’ve been praying for, and the same old sick and tired keeps on coming around.
The context for Isaiah 46:4 is the weary and worn down people (the nation) of God in Babylonian exile. They’ve been forced to carry the “gods” of Babylon and frankly the danger for them is that over time they may begin to mingle these gods with their own faith. The result being a diluted hope. Sound familiar in this multicultural world we live in today?
What’s coming?
In prophecy Babylon is the financial center for the future, and it’s also crumbling. And as these globalist power centers erode the result will be more and more totalitarianism, the end of the rights of man. Inspite of these circumstances we are to continue to live in the truth. The mingling of gods, the financial stresses and cancel culture will wear you down. You’ll be in a very great danger of falling away. Apostasy will grow and grow. Your financial property rights will be damaged, but even more terrible is the resulting stateless faith.
Just how hard will it be?
In these dark days of totalitarian exile our inalienable rights and our faith in Christ won’t just be trampled upon, they’ll be spoken of as having never existed. In fact they’ll be openly mocked. They’ll be taught in the schools as mere prejudices, hypocrisies, and cowardice in the face of the “New World Order”. The phrases “human rights”, and “prayer of faith”, will be deconstructed into hopeless idealism and feebleness by the ruling class totalitarians. Your “God” will be mocked as they force you to carry their gods. You’ll be forced to become part of the stateless people.
Where do we go from here?
Well…the obvious answer is we go into exile. And as we head off into this spiritual exile we remember to remember the former things. This is difficult for us, we’re linear people, we’re not omnipresent. This is why God has sent his prophets, his Word (Our Lord Jesus), His Helper (The Holy Spirit) and his promises. This is why we MUST live the gospel, drawing upon these awesome reserves.
Friends, keep an eye towards God in his word, not in any false foreign images; depend upon that, and upon the promises and predictions of it, and God’s almighty holy power to accomplish them all.
Remember folks, God is at work even when all hell breaks loose. He promised that he will "not forsake the work of his own hands." He will carry us along His path of life, till we reach His home of unfailing health and unbroken joy. We are a work in progress.
