From The River To The Sea
Ezekiel 25
6 For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: "Because you have clapped your hands and stamped your feet, rejoicing with all the malice of your heart against the land of Israel, 7 therefore I will stretch out my hand against you and give you as plunder to the nations. I will wipe you out from among the nations and exterminate you from the countries. I will destroy you, and you will know that I am the Lord.”
These people who worshipped Baal. Them who brought that wicked worship into the sanctuary. The people who had sold off their birthright, but protest even now, claiming the land is theirs. They sold off their birthright and murdered their children, offering them to their molech god. They despised God's promises to Israel and they profaned his temple. They've become bitter enemies of the Jews.
At the end of the day, history proves out that all nations who oppose God, and his people, will be judged. In fact these nations are chosen by God to bring about his judgements. The nations who were the descendants of Lot and Esau. The foolish nations who rejected God's promises.
They...
"acted in vengeance and took revenge with malice in their hearts, and with ancient hostility seeking to destroy Judah"
Ezekiel 25:15
And in fact even today, thousands of years later, the descendants of these nations continue to plot for the destruction of Israel. The news today, the things we see happening today, it's all biblical. These wicked people are living history. Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Yemen...all the Mideast. All using the descendants of Lot and Esau to do war against their ancestral enemy Israel. This conflict goes a long way back into the annals of time. The same occupation of the land by Israel that motivated the Philistines to continually do battle with Judah some 30 plus centuries ago, even now motivates it's descendents. They were conquered by just about every nation of the Mideast, including Israel. And since that time, as God had ordained, they've never been much of anything since, except maybe a city of people, but never a nation again. The roots of their former glory was in conquest and Iron Age strength of arms, but ultimately they were defeated by just about everybody. From the river to the sea God has continually destroyed that nation because of their attitude towards Israel.
