Focus scriptures for the faithful in these last days:
The commandments are summarized as “walking as Christ walked” (1 John 2:6)
Revelation 12:17
And the dragon (Satan) was angry at the woman (The Bride of Jesus, The Church) and declared war against the rest of her children—ALL WHO KEEP GOD'S COMMANDMENTS AND MAINTAIN THEIR TESTIMONY FOR JESUS
And so it goes, the people of God are expected to keep the commandments of God that were written by God's hand into stone. Not speaking about the ordinances of man written on paper and kept outside the ark of the covenant, but the ten commandments of God given to Moses. And likewise the followers of Christ are expected to keep faith with their testimonies for Jesus.
Without a doubt, the times of the end will be times of scandal and offense. Traps and sin will be set up for them as a snare, and they will need to maintain this faithfulness to find their way safely. There will be betrayal everywhere. And the wise will keep their testimonies as a hedge against the false teachings.
"This means that God’s holy people must endure persecution patiently, obeying his commands and maintaining their faith in Jesus." Revelation 14:12
It's all about finding our way. It's about "The Way" we choose to go. It's about who we follow and who we choose to accompany us in our way.
1 John 2:11 "...whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes."
Our Response:
Love your enemies, pray for those who spite you and persecute you. The commandments are embodied in love for the brothers.
Friends, in these dark and frightening days ahead, remember that darkness is passing and the true light is already here showing us the way we should go. The Lord is near, and goes before us. His Spirit lives with us and will advocate on our behalf before the Father in heaven. We are never alone. We are never alone. We are never alone.
Amen and amen.
